Cumbria Schools OA

Cumbria Schools Orienteering Association has promoted the sport of orienteering in West Cumbrian schools for over forty years and has run an annual championships.

2011:
The championships this year will be held on an area at Beacon Fell near Penrith. The event is being hosted by Border Liners Orienteering Club. The MAP of the area is available as a PDF.
Parking will be on the roadside within a short distance of the forest. See details.
The start/finish and assembly will be within the wood.
The championships will be held on Saturday, 25th June, with starts from 10.30am to 12 Noon. There will be courses suitable for all the year groups from 5 to 13.

Entry to the championships can be made by completing the ENTRY FORM and returning to R Jackson, Seaton Mill, Workington CA14 1LW.

Affiliation to the Association can be made by completing the FORM and returning to the Secretary, Mrs S Butterfield, 12 Parkfield, Swarthmoor, near Ulverston LA12 0HW. To be eligible for the championships all competitors must be from an affiliated school.
